The Ragged Blade Band is a six-piece ensemble from St. Louis, MO, focusing on early jazz, blues, and ragtime from the late 1890s through the early 1930s, along with original songs by bandleader Jerry Rabushka. Bringing the music forward into today, we use modern instrumentation and arrangements to make the music of yesterday entertaining and relevant to audiences of all ages.

We can provide ensembles of various sizes and instrumentation to fit your needs, from a duo or trio up to the full six.
